What is G-TRAC?
G-TRAC is a web-based suite of modules capable of offering total supply chain visibility. Combining sophisticated, carrier integrated track and trace capability, purchase order management and document management and retention, G-TRAC offers multiple tiers of information and access for cargo owners, forwarders, Customs brokers and other supply chain participants.
How does data get into G-TRAC?
G-TRAC can receive data from air, sea and rail carrier portals, custom-built connections with individual carriers or through EDI by mapping to our Data Exchange Services.
Can G-TRAC be private branded for my company?
We can privately brand G-TRAC a number of different ways. We can put your logo atop the login page and give your clients a unique URL to go to from your website or email signatures. We can also change the name to something proprietary to your company and work with your website hosting company to create a “virtual” URL for the site (gtrac.mycompany.com).
Does G-TRAC work with my existing systems?
Yes. Because G-TRAC operates as a SaaS (Software as a Service), G-TRAC is capable of working with your existing systems whether they are installed in your offices or also delivered via the internet.
What are the benefits of G-TRAC?
G-TRAC provides 24-hour visibility and access to shipment data for interested trading parties. You determine the entry points for data, the connectivity to external service providers and levels of visibility. Whether a customized table viewable online to a flood of email event notifications, G-TRAC offers as much or as little as you and the client want or need to offer.
How can G-TRAC be customized?
Because G-TRAC is delivered online, there are many parts of the system that can be customized by you or by the user. Multiple levels of permission from administrator to user allow for different experiences. Administrators can customize queries and report output and field order. Other levels of access have features available to them as well.
Is G-TRAC secure and reliable?
G-TRAC is hosted in a secure cloud server facility with multiple, concurrent redundant backups. Should one data center be offline, others remain accessible.
How is G-TRAC priced?
Pricing for G-TRAC is accessible and affordable. G-TRAC offers a series of modules and depending upon the number modules, external connectivity and minimum usage levels, pricing starts as low as less than a dollar per shipment record.
What are the different parts of G-TRAC?
G-TRAC is composed of a number of modules. At its core, G-TRAC offers robust tracking and tracing that combines human and system-generated data and statuses. Purchase order management allows for monitoring PO’s from placement with the factory through delivery. Document management allows for the uploading and online retention of all the documents for a shipment, including marking some private where buying and selling rates should be kept confidential.
How long does it take to get set up to go live on G-TRAC?
In as little as one business day, a company can be operational and providing visibility and a platform to their agents and customers.
